Meta4 once again included among the top 100 software companies of Europe

  • - Meta4 is one of only two Spanish companies included in the European index of the top 100 major software vendor companies
  • - Revenue, growth and R&D investment are some of the key criteria analyzed for the annual Truffle 100 Europe report.

Meta4, a Spanish multinational specialized in human intellectual capital management (HICM) solutions has been recognized yet again as one of the top 100 software development companies in Europe, according to the prestigious Truffle 100 Europe 2015 index.

For yet another year, Meta4 is one of two Spanish companies only to appear in this annual study conducted by IDC, Truffle Capital, BARC, CXP and ESSEC. This report ranks the main European software vendor companies by revenue, annual growth, reinvestment and human capital allocated to R&D and innovation.

Bernard-Louis Roques, General Partner and co-Founder of Truffle Capital declared, “With €44 billion in aggregated revenues, 67,000 R&D jobs, 5.2% growth and €7 billion invested into research, the software vendors have become a major component of the European economy and the most important contributor to its innovation.”

Furthermore 2014 has been a year of changes marked by the number of companies that have committed to cloud computing to complement their traditional software businesses. According to IDC estimates in the report, “Just under half of the top 100 software providers have built or acquires significant cloud offerings today.” These further add that “by 2020 cloud computing will cover the majority of IT workloads, even in large enterprises. Consequently, all software vendors in Europe must consider the cloud computing model at some point in their planning horizon.”

In line with this trend, Meta4 continues to reinforce its positioning as a cloud solutions provider for HR and payroll management. This business area already represents 35% of the group’s total revenue. Moreover 50% of new professionals hired by the company in Spain joined this area over the past year.

For Carlos Pardo, CEO of Meta4, “The constant investment in R&D and the strong commitment to our line of cloud HR and payroll solutions have been determining factors to form part of this European ranking once more. As a Spanish technology company, we are proud of this renewed inclusion in recognition of our efforts.
