New version of e-doceo’s application for the creation of online training

\

e-doceo, the leading vendor of digital learning applications, announces the release of version 7 of its e-learning content creation software, e-doceo content manager.

While its distance training platform is already a major reference in the world of digital learning, e-doceo is now publishing the new version of its LCMS (learning content management system).

e-doceo’s products are regularly rewarded, like US firm Brandon Hall’s prize discerned last December for SkillCatch, the mobile application used to quickly design mini-training sequences of enriched videos. And with this new version, the company offers new ways to simplify the design of training for any audience, by means of a next-generation interface that provides a unique user experience.

Training content creation, the foundation of corporate development

“In teaching, regardless of the solutions being considered, content is always key and must be at the heart of companies’ training mechanisms,” declares e-doceo Managing Director Jérôme Bruet.

This newest version of e-doceo content manager simplifies training design - done directly online - thanks to educational activities for the transmission of knowledge, as well as for assessments, and to a variety of media embedded in real educational scenarios: texts and images, of course, but also videos integrated directly from YouTube, direct imports of sequences created using SkillCatch, the addition of interactive multiple-choice questions, and more.

Simplified industrialization

Over and above its technological aspects, which offer tremendous flexibility to its users, the possibility of streamlining will be of particular interest to companies. Using a single tool that does not need to be installed on employees’ workstations, the different people working on a resource (integrator, proofreader, translator, etc.) can work together, shortening the timeline and reducing the usual back-and-forths involved in editing or localizing content.

Additionally, e-doceo content manager 7 increases the range of employees who can work directly on training content: the HR department (or training department, if one exists) can reach out to functional experts with special knowledge of a specific training point, to design the most concrete resource possible that will be perfectly aligned with the other team members’ training needs. In this way, the solution can considerably reduce the turnaround time between the expression of a need and delivery of the training materials. “This new version of our LCMS can be summarized as increased responsiveness to make companies more productive,” explains Jérôme Bruet.
