SumTotal Recognized as a Leader in Learning Management

IDC recently released a series of reports assessing vendors in the integrated talent management market—we’re pleased to be recognized as a major player in the talent management, performance management and recruiting MarketScape reports and named a leader in the learning management category.

In a press release, Lisa Rowan, IDC’s research vice president, mentioned SumTotal’s innovations in creating a comprehensive view of all of an organization’s HR data to deliver a consolidated view of the workforce. Innovation has been a major driver for SumTotal lately, and we’re planning to continue in that vein.

We’re on a mission to ensure every solution we bring to market includes industry-leading innovation that supports our customers in overcoming their greatest challenges. We want to redefine how you achieve success through the performance of your people. We want to help you collaborate more easily across your organization—and we want to collaborate with our customers to ensure our investments and priorities align with the market’s evolving needs.

As an example, our Winter 2016 release incorporated new workflows to support internal career mobility. Our goal was to give people an intuitive, consumer-driven user experience that makes it easier than ever for HR professionals to know, develop, promote, mobilize and reward their workforce. The solution further empowers employees to pursue their own self-directed paths for growth and prioritize their individual learning experience – keep an eye out for new features, like the dynamic sidebar timeline that makes it easy for learners to track goals and performance milestones.

In a few months, we’ll launch our Summer 2016 release, featuring a phenomenal new Talent Acquisition suite that supports recruiting and onboarding. This release will redefine how you attract top talent, build an unrivaled employment brand, speed new employee productivity and foster internal mobility to keep top talent in the organization.

And we’re just getting started. We’ve shared our new technologies and vision for the new way of work with leading analysts, and media thought leaders, and people across the globe are taking notice. I’m predicting that our recent recognition from IDC is just the beginning. We hope you’ll join us as we continue our evolution.
